They are laid out in three chapters which get more difficult as you go through the book, in the author’s opinion at least. The answers are at the back of the book if all else fails.

One grandson loves to do math in his head. I think these riddles will be challenging. I haven't given the book to him yet. It's a bit ahead of him. He's only going into first grade, and though he is already multiplying and dividing, the word problems in riddle form in this are pretty advanced, more for 3rd to 5th grade level math. Maybe we'll try some together and see what happens.

Lots of these riddles are silly, lots of the answers do not give proper explanations. Not a great riddles book, one anybody could put together. Surprised it's got so many good reviews. From now on I will first read all negative reviews first, as I do not trust Amazon reviews any longer.

Perfect size and font for the age range although the puzzles are considerably harder than the age billed. We found most of the adults were kept guessing. Nice format we hope she'll grow into it in a couple of years.
