JNK:An absolute favorite. Buy this!An absolute favorite. My daughter picks out a few board books from her library before bed and this one is in the group EVERY NIGHT. It's silly. It rhymes. It's colorful. I have just as much fun with it as she does. And I'm not sick of it yet after 100+ times through it.
PreSchool-K–This bedtime story is likely to strike a chord with young listeners. A gentle, rhyming text intersperses train noises with a getting-ready-for-bed routine with a railroad-inspired theme. Brightly colored cartoon illustrations picture children in their beds being pulled along by the engine. They ride through tunnels, over bridges, and past fields of sheep. The words flow fairly well, with only a few minor skips, and the sounds mixed with bedtime sounds (Rock-a, rock-a, rock-a, rock-a–Shhhhhhhhhhh! Shhhhhhhhhhh!) will delight youngsters and have them chiming in.
The acrylic-and-collage artwork curves around the spreads and encourages page turns. Clever backgrounds, including a sign that declares, Dreamland 20 winks ahead, ensure that there is plenty to look at, and the journey ends effectively with the children asleep and the words, Good night, train./Good night. Libraries in need of more train or bedtime books will find this a useful and enjoyable addition

Kate Mahoney: Perfect bedtime book for train crazy tots!Great bedtime book for my train crazy autistic 5 year old! Very cute, high quality and well written/illustrated.
Aundrea: My son loves reading "choo choo".
I can't tell you enough how much we love this book. When it's time for bed and I'm talking to my 2 year old about our bedtime routine he gets really excited about "choo choo" book. This book helps ease the transition to bedtime.
It has wonderful pictures that we all enjoy (myself and my 11 year old daughter as well). When you look closely at the pictures there's so many fun little things added in. Like the squirrel eating out of the fridge in a tree, the mermaid putting on night cream, the sheep taking wool of another sheep to knit a blanket. It took me a few weeks or reading it nightly to really pay attention to what's in the pictures. Now we have fun pointing out the goofy things. The words are catchy and fun to read. The story is a sing songy rhyme that flows easily and is very catchy. It's not too short nor too long. Definitely a keeper. This will be a great go-to birthday gift for 1-3 year olds.

G Sawyer: Goodnight train, goodnight mom...
This story is beautiful, word and picture alike. I got it for my three year old for his birthday because we love to read stories before he takes a nap or goes to bed for the night. The more I read this, the more impressed I was with the detailed art, and the gentle rhythm of the story. Even I was yawning by the end. My three year old little guy really enjoyed all of the detailed art, asking question after question about what everyone is doing, where the teddy bear ended up, why the skunk and the mechanic keep getting back at each other, etc. One of my favorites to read, and he seems to enjoy having it in his rotation as well.

My 20 month old is pretty picky about books. We have read this one so many times in the past two days since we ordered it; it is now his favorite book, and we own A LOT of books. Once he insisted that we read this one 9 times in a sitting, every time we finished it, he would insist "Train book again!" I highly recommend this one.

Summer Fleming: Perfect combo of Trains and Bedtime Story
My kids love this book. I bought it because my son is really into trains, and they both love bedtime stories. Perfect combo! This shows the train’s passengers and others doing their bedtime routines as the train starts going, and in the middle of the book, they are going super fast and the passengers are having fun, but then they start getting sleepy and the train slows down, and by the end of the book, the passengers are asleep, the conductor is yawning, and the train creeps along into the tunnel for the night. Great story. Makes me tired too.

JAMick34:Easy to Read Bedtime Board Book
My 18 month old daughter really adores this book. She calls it the "Choo Choo" book and already starts requesting it as soon as we are drying off post bath.
The illustrations are beautiful and the story rhymes well. It has an easy-to-read cadence about it, and I think the best parts (both her favorite, and mine!) are the sound effects: "clickety-clack", "huff-a-puff-a! choo! choo!", "Rock-a rock-a shhhh! shhhh!", "Scrub-a-dub toot toot!".
The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is one page, right in the middle of the book, that does not have any story lines on it to read. This really bothers me! Like I said, the book is very rhythmic and easy to read. This page messes up my flow. It's an illustration that does have 2 signs on it, but the signs don't contribute to the story, nor do they rhyme or flow along with the cadence of the rest of the book. I wish they skipped this blank page. It's pointless and annoying!
Sasha331122:Great Bedtime Book..
My son loves Thomas, Chuggington and trains in general so really was excited to receive this book. It's one of his favourite bedtime stories. Illustrated lovely, good quality nice simple story.
